Shade’s hero is Black Panther – a first at our Landing events – because he helps save his village. So I came in from the left field: “How do you think Black Panther was as a kid?”

While having a talk with my kid about how I was there for them in a potential bullying situation, they surprise me by flipping the table.

My kid chose our Sky Patroller herolook one day. But then, the hero became a Hero when they went over to help an old lady who had fallen to the floor.

Children’s imagination is unlimited by the bounds of what we think can or can’t be done. They are smart and sharp. They deserve that we take them seriously. Talking with them can be a mutually enriching experience and we try to learn from them every chance we get.

My take on why the World needs more Heroes, after establishing a volunteering organisation in one of the World’s largest companies.
